Are you a Laboratory Equipment Technician with experience working in a regulated cGMP environment? Would you like to work in a Biotech facility in Cork? This is initially a 12 month contract but likely to be extended.

Our client is a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO), working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors worldwide.



Job Description

Work within an award-winning team partnering with one of the world's top pharmaceutical companies.



Responsibilities:

Verification/Calibration of lab equipment, including balances and pipettes.

Performing routine maintenance on and cleaning of laboratory equipment.

Appropriately assist with and document equipment management tasks in accordance with site procedures and ensure accurate records management.

Assist with the introduction of new equipment to the lab and the retirement of old equipment as requested, Administration of ID numbers and SAP updates.

Regular interaction with project clients regarding technical matters.

Participate in quality system investigations in support of CAPAS, audits and lab investigations..



Requirements:

Minimum of Certificate but Diploma/Degree an advantage.

Prior experience of equipment management in laboratory environment is preferable but not strictly required.

Seeking committed person with good attention to detail and a practical approach to their work.

Experience of working in a regulated cGMP environment would be beneficial.

Ability to work independently within a team-based environment.

Good communication skills both internally and externally.



Package:

12 month Contract initially

€25K - €35K per annum, depending on skills and experience.
